Tobias Heining is founding member and board member of the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA) and Director of Business Development & Communications (BD&C) at CMS in Germany. The BD&C department at CMS also comprises a Research & Development unit which is responsible for developing technology-based legal advisory products and launched its first product in 2015. Prior to becoming BD&C Director at CMS, Tobias has been working as Consultant at a PR agency, as Marketing Manager at US law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, joined CMS as BD Manager and headed the BD unit at CMS for a couple of years. In his various functions, Tobias Heining has been dealing with product development in law firms and its effects on the legal market as well as business models of the future since 2007. This also includes the greater digitization strategy of CMS Germany. Tobias studied History, Politics and Communications at Freie Universität Berlin, as well as Business Economics later on.
As the Europe Director of Innovation at Dentons, Marie is a passionate promoter of technology and innovation within the firm, who helps to: (i) assess partnership opportunities with startups, clients and other law firms; (ii) share information on all things around innovation in the industry, helping others frame achievable service design and product development deliverables; (iii) promote learning from other chief innovation officers of all industries across the globe.
In addition to her role with Dentons, Marie is also a strategic advisor to Nextlaw Labs. Marie seeks out and develops internal and external ideas for new products, services or startups with potential applications in the legal sector and seeks potential business partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Simply put, she is the voice and face of Nextlaw Labs in the EMEA region.
She accelerates internal development and innovation culture at Dentons and promotes the cooperation with legal-tech initiatives and strategic projects throughout Europe. For more than 15 years Marie has been working in the field of business development and customer relations with professional service firms.
Marie also serves as a board member within the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA). Most recently she was ranked among the 2017 ‘Fastcase 50’, recognizing of the world’s leading innovators in law.

Maria Jesus devoted the first half of her career to the practice of law, specializing in #IP, #DataProtection and #Contracts’ Drafting. She was admitted to the Madrid bar in 1989 and practiced first as a solicitor at Clifford Chance and Gómez-Acebo&Pombo; and later as a corporate counsel at Orbis-Fabbri and Consodata.
She studied law at University Complutense of Madrid and European Law at Amsterdam University. She is DEA in Public Law by UNED. Her thesis dealt with #DataProtection. She has also received a solid education in business management and law, through various postgraduate courses in recognized institutions such as IESE (PLGP program), ESADE (SEP program) in Madrid and the Solvay Institute in Brussels (Master in Management).
She is the author of several books on management of law firms and is a regular contributor to professional media and a frequent speaker in training institutions such as Nebrija, ICADE, Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Centro Universitario Villanueva, IE Business School, FIDE o el ICAM. She can work in English, French, Italian, Dutch and Catalan, and is used to working in multinational teams, since she has spent parts of her career in the U.S., Belgium, United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Dr Hariolf Wenzler is Chief Strategy Officer for the German and Austrian offices of Baker & McKenzie. He is responsible for innovation, marketing and business development and is member of Baker & McKenzie’s Global Innovation Committee.
In addition, he is President of the European Legal Technology Association (ELTA) founded in 2016. The association already has more than 200 members in over 20 different countries, making it the largest Legal Tech association in Europe. The association holds annual conferences and offers an overview of the European Legal Tech scene through ELTA-Connect.
Jeroen Zweers is Innovation Director for Kennedy Van der Laan which is a law firm with offices in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He is responsible for a team of Legal Tech consultants and developers who help Inhouse counsel to solve their challenges with Legal Tech. Jeroen is also co-founder of Dutch Legal Tech which is one of the oldest Legal Tech communities in Europe, with more than 900 members. Last year, Jeroen was nominated by the Financial Times as European Legal innovator of the year.
Mr. Or Bakai is the Head of the Legal Tech department and the head of the Tech&Law department at Robus Consulting & Legal Marketing, located at the heart of the Startup Nation – Tel-Aviv (Israel).
The department creates tailor-made strategies for Israeli and foreign legal-tech companies and start-ups, wishing to penetrate the Israeli legal sector, or expanding their service and coverage overseas.
Mr. Or Bakai is a technology enthusiast and loves dealing with startups and entrepreneurs, aspiring to change the way lawyers think about their profession.

Jean-Luc Delli is the founder of Innovation.Law – The Legal Industry Forum, and the Managing Director of the practical legal training institute Lawbility Ltd in Zurich (Switzerland) that develops and offers a practical training program for legal professionals. Furthermore, he is a board member of the International Negotiation Competition for Law Students (INC).

She has been the Head of marketing and BD for the law firm Adarve Abogados for more than a decade, now combining it with cofounding and codirecting the Instituto de Innovación Legal, an organization created in 2016 to promote innovation in the legal industry and legaltech entrepreneurship in Spain and Latam countries.

Magnus Jones is a Tax Technologist at the law firm of EY, in Oslo Norway, combining law and technology in his daily work as Nordic lead for Tax Technology & Transformation within all service lines of EY.
He loves to challenge the business model of the traditional old law firm, assisting both colleagues and clients with new relevant technology and process improvements.
As a board member of the Norwegian Computer Society Group for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, combined with some of his other roles at EY Norway as head of VAT Analytics, and head of SAF-T (Standard Audit File – Tax), he has great experience with law and technology. Magnus is also an experienced international speaker within digital trends, and a lecturer at EMBA classes at BI Norwegian Business School.
As the Norwegian Ambassador of European Legal Technology Association, Magnus help promote legal tech all over Europe.
Riikka is a postdoctoral researcher of procedural and insolvency law at the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Law. She defended her doctoral dissertation ``Dispute Resolution and Technology - Revisiting the Justification of Conflict Management`` in September 2016. In her PhD she examines the impact that technology-enabled forms of conflict management have on the justification of use of coercion. She considers conflict management technology as disruptive, in the sense that implementation of technology affects both doctrinal boundaries between different fields of law as well as dispute resolution mechanisms.
Kaisa is the co-founder and CEO of Contract Mill, an intelligent legal document automation solution for law firms and in-house legal teams. Silvano is Co-Founder of BLB, Italian law firm with offices in Milan, Rome and Shenzhen (China). Silvano is based in Milan but often he works on international matters especially involving the Chinese Guangdong office. Sophie Martinetz is an experience Entrepreneur and Corporate professional. After graduation from law she made her first working experience in the Film industry. After joining Bertelsmann/ FremantleMedia as a Junior Lawyer in Berlin and London she moved on to Barclays Coarporate banking where she did Corporate Finance for Media Companies. After that she build up and led a Global Business Development Team for Large Companies at Barclays Corporate Banking. Tobias Steinemann is a licensed Swiss attorney. After being admitted to the bar in Basel, he practiced in a commercial law firm, where he mainly focused on the areas of corporate and commercial law. Tobias holds an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and completed his MBA at HEC Paris in 2017.
As Yerra Solutions’ Legal Director, Tobias directs the company’s global internal legal and compliance department. He works on the structural and operational development of this internal function as well as the support of the consulting practice and external clients.
Fredrik Svärd is the Secretary-General of the Swedish Data Protection Forum. Greg Wildisen is an entrepreneur who has built several legal technology businesses. He has an extensive background in legal and support services with degrees in both law and business. He is focused on providing vision and leadership to ensure client satisfaction and motivated staff.
He is the International Managing Director of Neota Logic, an Artificial Intelligence based Expert Systems Platform. Prior to joining Neota in 2015, he was International Managing Director and Head of Product Strategy for Epiq Systems, a Nasdaq-listed legal technology business. He joined Epiq in 2008 through its acquisition of PinPoint Global, a SaaS eDisclosure company. Prior to PinPoint, Greg lived in Australia where he founded Diskcovery, a legal support business that was acquired by CCH (Wolters Kluwer).
He lives in London, UK with his wife and three children and enjoys running, cycling and playing hockey for Southgate Hockey Club. He has a Bachelor of Law degree (with Honour) from University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from Curtin University.
